An opportunity to explore how making contact with nature can help you to slow down, bring attention to what is happening in your experience, feel a sense of calm and an appreciation of the natural world around you. Participants will be invited to take part in a series of gentle experiences that will focus on the five senses to help promote mindfulness through a connection with nature. We will end the session with a hot drink and an opportunity to chat to others about your experience.

Suitable for: adults who are interested in developing more of a connection with themselves and with nature and who would like to have calm and fulfilment in their everyday experiences. Whether you are a complete beginner or a practiced mindfulness practitioner you will find something of interest and of benefit within the session as long as you come with an open mind and a willingness to participate

What to wear: we will be walking in all weather conditions -apart from severe conditions, if its pooring down and stormy the session will be cancelled for safety reasons. So please dress appropriately for the weather and for your own comfort.
