Although smaller than its neighbour Sale Water Park, Chorlton Water Park is perfectly formed! As a Local Nature Park, the area is invaluable for local wildlife and the recently extended pond with wheelchair accessible dipping platform is a great place to spot resident wildfowl.

The area is readily accessible to anglers, cyclists, horse riders and walkers, with easy access to the Trans Pennine Trail. There are 2km of well surfaced paths suitable for wheelchairs, toilets open during daylight hours and an information point open at weekends and Bank Holiday mornings.

The park can be accessed from Maitland Avenue and there is a car park with disabled bays. It is close to the Barlow Moor Road Metrolink station and on the 23, 23A, 86 and 276 bus routes.
