Habitats from the fire

In Sept 2016 a fire near my home destroyed 7 leylandii which bordered my garden. When the tree surgeon took down the trees he took the middle trunks to a wooden reclamation yard ans the branches he left behind now provide a 10x 4m tall habitat for animals and birds.
